Application to participate in the on-site seminar at the Educational and Memorial Centre "House of the Wannsee Conference " (GHWK), Berlin (20-24 September 2021)

If you live in Berlin or its surroundings, you can apply to participate in the seminar at the GHWK (20-24 September 2021). The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 12.

Deadline for applications: 13 September 2021

If you are interested, please send your application in English to rkroke.udk@berlin.com. Please describe your current professional situation (name, age, institution/studies/...), previous experiences related to the themes of history and memory (not a prerequisite for participation), your level of English (listening, speaking, reading) and your motivation to participate in our project. If you have any further questions, please contact Roman Kroke (see above). A detailed programme of the seminar in Berlin will be posted online soon. The application is limited to people from Berlin/the surrounding area, as the overnight stays during the seminar will be at everybody’s own home for health reasons/Covid-19.

In the event that more applications are received than places are available, a balanced and heterogeneous group will be sought within the selection process, especially with regard to gender and professional/study background representation; your letter of motivation will also be taken into account. Lectures, workshops and discussions will be held in English. Sufficient language skills are therefore required to understand and actively participate in the exchange. For those who have not been selected to participate on site, there will be the possibility to follow the project online and to participate in some of the events (Zoom conferences; online streams).
